signals into meaning · ask this site anything

I pull hidden state out of Wi-Fi distortions and turn it into something that matters. Everything I've built lives on this site, and the fastest way through it is to just ask.

Press / to focus. Typing searches instantly; Ask opens a full answer page built from everything here.

Work

Where I've worked.

Big tech, startups, finance, and a research lab in Chennai. Company first, then what actually got built.

    Research

    Open questions I'm chasing.

Wearable sensing, quantum compilation, and wireless perception. Each entry expands.

    Projects

    Things I've built.

From hand-written CUDA kernels to market microstructure. Numbered like a gallery, each with live instruments and real numbers. Ask the chat for the deep version of any of them.

Also built: RANE (2nd place, InnovateHer), MERIDIAN (zero-backend BI with in-browser SQL), NeuralDrive (autonomous C++ on Jetson), BoilerExchange (campus marketplace with Stripe), PipelineForge, GridLens, QueryDesk. Open source contributions to freeCodeCamp and OpenMRS.

    Community

    Teaching it forward.

The fastest way to hand someone real power is to show them they can build too.

    Notes

    Long-form, in my own words.

What I built, why it was hard, and what it changed about how I think. The chat has read all of it.

    The daily brain log

    weird little musings.

one thing i learn about tech, every day, written like nobody's reading. (nobody's reading.) 0 brain dumps so far.

grab a note and toss it. it comes back. they always come back.

    Legos

    The brick room.

I spend most of my time building software. Sometimes I just like building things that don't need to compile.

There's a whole workshop in here: drawers to open, a lamp that works, and a little assistant that designs brick builds on request, instruction manual included.

    About

    Neha Mahesh

Someone who builds the whole stack, from the kernel to the person it reaches.

I build systems that pull hidden state out of noisy signals: Wi-Fi distortions, heartbeat waveforms, order flow, crash logs, GPU throughput. Low-level where it counts, intelligent where it matters.

I want to build things that reach everyone, especially the people the world keeps building around. The CUDA, the models, the systems: I don't build them to be clever. I build them so something finally reaches the person standing outside the door.

    Education

Purdue University, 2024 to 2028. B.S. in Computer Science, Machine Intelligence track, with a Mathematics minor. GPA 3.8.

    Awards

1st place at HackMIT. 2nd place at InnovateHer for RANE. NVIDIA certifications.

Computing for good isn't the soft version of the work. It's the hardest version: it has to be fast, it has to be correct, and it has to reach everyone. That's the scale I'm chasing.
